Pretty good bbq with the friendliest service ever! You order at a counter then find a seat, it does get busy! I had the salad with smoked chicken, shared dry rub wings... yumm! My husband enjoyed a meat platter, and our sons pulled pork and tenders. Live music was playing which made our experience more enjoyable! They also have a store attached where you may grab some art or other collectibles!
Fabulous wood fired pizza in the summer. Sit outside and listen to live music! No servers, just go to the counter. The barbecue is always a solid option.
Stopped here on the way out of Blowing Rock with our camper. Plenty of parking for us to pull in and eat. It wasn't crazy busy for Sunday brunch time. Food was amazing, service was great, and atmosphere was awesome. Definitely worth stopping to eat
We came as a large group of 15. We stood in line to order at the counter. Our food came Out quicker than it took to get to the front of the line to order. The food was so good. We tried it all--pulled pork, dry rub wings (amazing), chicken tenders, Brunswick Stew, collard greens, Mac and cheese, fried okra, baked beans, fries. Everything was hot and so so good. They were super crowded on a Sunday afternoon with a live Bluegrass Band. We sat outside on the porch of the folk art store. Perfect day on a cool Autumn day. This would be a fun place to spend the afternoon.
I love when this eatery is open! Besides the great food, there are also grits, jams and other items to buy. I had the smoked chicken with cole slaw and baked beans and of course sweet tea. It was fabulous, tender and I slathered the chicken in sweet barbeque sauce. Can't wait to come back!
